Steelwork that we supplied and installed at Turner’s Studio, Old Street, London.
We were tasked with various elements on this project. They consisted of installing a large steel framework in a void to form the new tv studio area. In the upper floors we installed steel trimmers to allow a new three floor staircase void to be formed. On the roof we installed a long 30m platform with brackets to take new satellite dishes complete with flooring and handrails.
Steels were installed and fixed into existing steels with new welded connections plates and bolted together. To support the slabs ready for new openings to be formed.
A staircase was later installed by others to give easier access between office floors.
